Class Description

Are you a practitioner or professional working in a health and social care setting within the UK, EU or Overseas and you wish to gain an Advanced Diploma or a degree? This part-time course offers you the flexibility to study at a pace that fits learning around your work and personal commitments.

What’s covered in the course?

The course is delivered entirely online and will develop your academic and reasoning skills whilst working within your own field of practice. There is no requirement to attend the University. You will experience a high level of interaction and contact with tutors and fellow students. It is recognised that active engagement is key to your success on the course. Emphasis is placed on student-centred learning in which you will have the opportunity to consider, in significant depth, the development of personal and practice goals.

The course gives you the opportunity to enhance your employability whilst developing transferable graduate skills in independent learning and time management, digital literacy, communication and goal sharing within a community of learning. The course will increase your confidence to contribute more effectively to workplace initiatives and give leadership to re-evaluate practice and improve services.

The course provides a set of non-competency based modules to meet the diverse needs of practitioners working across the health and social care environments. Global, national and local practices are at the forefront of our teaching, learning and assessment activities. We offer you access to a multidisciplinary teaching team with a portfolio of national and international teaching and research experience. We ensure our students feel supported and have access to a Personal Tutor throughout their study.
